Sitting comfortably

Here are some general tips for using your computer as comfortably as you can
  • Position the monitor so that top of the screen is at eye level
  • Make YOUR chair work for YOU – your back should be supported by the chair and your feet firmly on the floor for support
  • Head balanced – not tilted back or too far forwards
  • Wrists relaxed when typing and using mouse
  • Make sure there is no glare on the screen to reduce eye strain
  • Limit your time at the computer to no more than an hour without a break
